Show notes

Episode is a link show. James and Per discuss two articles that have grabbed their attention.

Article one is The Secrets of HTML5 for Document Structure — a Guide by Jason Barnard. “HTML tags tell the browser how to display the content on the page. They give no indication as to what type of content they contain or what role that content plays in the page. Semantic HTML5 addresses this shortcoming by defining specific tags to indicate clearly what role is played by the content those tags contain.”

Our second article is Don’t let them paste passwords… by Paul Moore. “Behavioural biometrics/keystroke dynamics monitor how you type; the periodicity of your keystrokes, how long you dwell between each key, how often you make mistakes, how long each key is pressed and so on to determine who’s typing”
