My mom started using WeChat recently, and I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. To me it looked like WhatsApp on steroids. “So, how long will this take?” is one of the most questions by all client-serving professionals, UX designers notwithstanding. The answer lies in having a conversation with clarifying questions, like asking about the scope of work, expectations of final delivery, and any dependencies the project depends on.

This article shares that for online job applications (which is the majority of job apps), linking to your best and most relevant work can only help you. However, remember to keep links short, by either hyperlinking directly through text (and not the full “http:” web address) and/or using a link shortening service like Bit.ly.
